There are thousands of skincare products I could bring into my treatment room. But for me, choosing professional skincare has never been based solely on what is trending or what promises the quickest result.

I care about what is inside the bottle, how it is formulated, the philosophy of the company behind it and the impact our choices have beyond our own skin.

At The Ritual Esthetics Room, my approach to skincare continues to evolve toward something I deeply believe in: a return to nature without abandoning science.

That philosophy has led me to intentionally work with Circadia, Éminence Organic Skin Care, Earth Harbor, Mr. Lulu, Living Libations and Badger.

Each is different, but there is a thread connecting them—thoughtful ingredients, respect for nature and a more conscious approach to caring for the skin.

CIRCADIA: Skincare That Works With the Skin’s Natural Rhythms

Circadia brings the science.

The professional skincare line is built around chronobiology—the study of the body’s natural biological rhythms. The philosophy recognizes that our skin behaves differently during the day than it does at night.

Daytime skincare focuses on protection, while nighttime skincare supports the skin’s natural processes of repair and renewal.

I love that Circadia doesn’t approach the skin as something that needs to be fought or forced. There is an intelligence to the body, and good skincare should work with it.

ÉMINENCE ORGANIC SKIN CARE: Botanical Skincare Rooted in the Earth

Éminence brings together organic and Biodynamic® ingredients, botanical extracts and professional skincare formulation.

The line has deep roots in Hungary and places an emphasis on sustainable farming, fresh botanical ingredients and environmentally conscious practices.

It represents something I have always been drawn to in skincare: the understanding that plants can be incredibly sophisticated.

Nature isn’t the opposite of effective skincare. Sometimes nature is where the most beautiful ingredients begin.

EARTH HARBOR: Plant-Powered + Planet-Conscious Beauty

Earth Harbor combines botanical skincare with a strong environmental philosophy.

Inspired by both the earth and the sea, its formulas incorporate plant-based and marine-derived ingredients while the company places significant emphasis on sustainability and conscious sourcing.

There is an intention behind the brand that extends beyond skincare—and that matters to me.

Because caring for ourselves shouldn’t require disconnecting from caring for the planet we live on.

MR. LULU: Waterless Skincare + Concentrated Actives

Mr. Lulu takes a very different approach to formulation.

Rather than building products around water, the line focuses on waterless, highly concentrated skincare, allowing its formulas to be composed of active ingredients without relying on traditional preservative systems used in water-based products.

The philosophy is simple: remove what isn’t necessary and concentrate on what serves the skin.

Natural ingredients, cruelty-free practices, sustainability and serious skin science come together in a way that feels incredibly aligned with the direction my own skincare philosophy has taken.

Sometimes less really can be more.

LIVING LIBATIONS: Skincare in Its Most Botanical Form

Living Libations feels like a return to the plant itself.

The line is known for botanical oils and formulations created with carefully selected plant extracts, essential oils and other botanical ingredients.

One of the products I use is Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever, a beautiful botanical oil blend I incorporate for facial massage, nourishment and supporting soft, luminous skin.

There is something almost ritualistic about working with beautiful plant oils—the aroma, texture and connection to the ingredients themselves.

Skincare becomes more than simply applying a product.

It becomes an experience.

BADGER: Organic Skincare With a Bigger Mission

Badger is one of those companies where the values behind the bottle matter just as much as the product itself.

The family-owned company has built its philosophy around organic ingredients, simple formulations, responsible sourcing, sustainability and cruelty-free practices.

Its environmental commitment extends into how the company operates, including renewable energy and support for regenerative agriculture and environmental initiatives.

I use select Badger products, including their botanical cleansing oils, because I appreciate both their simplicity and the integrity behind the company making them.

What “Clean Skincare” Means to Me

The word clean has become complicated in the beauty industry.

Natural doesn’t automatically mean better. Synthetic doesn’t automatically mean harmful. And a beautiful botanical label doesn’t necessarily tell you whether a formula is appropriate for your skin.

For me, conscious skincare is about something deeper.

It’s asking better questions.

Where did these ingredients come from?

Does this formulation respect the biology of the skin?

Does the company care about its environmental impact?

Are animals considered in the process?

Is this product actually necessary?

And perhaps most importantly:

Does this support the health of the skin rather than constantly asking the skin to become something else?

That is the philosophy I continue to bring into The Ritual Esthetics Room.
